How do I book a room?

How can I change the dates of my booking?

If you have booked directly with us by phone, or on our website, please contact us via email at with your booking reference number and we will be very pleased to assist. If you have booked with a tour operator or online travel agency, please contact them directly for any modifications.

How can I cancel my booking? Is there a cancellation fee?

Our cancellation policy may vary depending on the rate you have booked. Should the need to cancel arise, please advise us at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid any cancellation fees. For special events we operate a 14 day cancellation policy. You may view the cancellation policy as it pertains to your booking in your booking confirmation email. If you have booked directly with us or on our website, contact us via e-mail at and we will be delighted to help you. If you have booked a non-refundable rate or a special package that cannot be cancelled, the cancellation fee will be the total amount of the booking.

Do I have to pay for my booking online?

When you book online directly with us a non-refundable small deposit will be taken from your credit card provided to secure your booking. You will then pay the full balance of your stay at the hotel. 

How can I pay for the rest of my stay?

Your stay must be fully paid at the hotel. The method of payment can be either the card you used as a guarantee of the booking, another card or cash. If you decide to pay with another card or to pay in cash, you will still be required to show the card you have used as a guarantee.

What is not included in the price of my booking?

Your booking does not include spa treatments, room service, children’s crèche, excursions or any other service that is not expressly included in your booking confirmation. Please note our extensive cooked and buffet breakfast is included in all of our directly booked rates.

I have already booked; can I upgrade to a different room type?

Yes of course. If you would like to upgrade to one of our available options please email us at and we will be delighted to help.

Guest room upgrades are subject to availability and will incur an extra charge, which can be paid directly at the hotel.

What is included in your children’s rate?

We are pleased to offer up to 2 children under 3 free sharing with 2 paying adults. If your children are over 3 we have the option of Bed and Breakfast or our Children’s Rate with Junior Evening Meal. Both of these options also include entry to our Kids Club which has 2 daily sessions per day during school holidays and at weekends outside of this.

I have more than 2 children over 3, what is the best option for me?

Our guest rooms are most suitable for up to 2 children sharing. If you have more than 2 children we do recommend interconnecting guest rooms. These rooms must be booked directly with us by phone or email only for the best available rate.

What facilities are provided in the guest rooms?

Our guest room facilities include tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and a hairdryer. If you require a fridge, or an iron and ironing board these can be requested at reception and delivered to your room.

Is there parking available at the hotel?

Yes provide free car parking for our hotel guests.

Notice of Distribution of Tips & Gratuities. This notice sets out the procedure for the allocation of tips, gratuities and service charges for Dingle Skellig Hotel.

The hotel can confirm that Tips/Gratuities received electronically or via room charge are dispensed to employees via payroll on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.

The proportion of Tips/Gratuities and Service Charges allocated to each employee is based on;

• the proportion or number of hours worked by the employee during the pay period Or depending on the department

• the role and influence of the employee in providing service to customers

The amount of Tips/Gratuities circulated to Employees is outlined in a written statement to each employee no later than 10 days after the payment of tips/gratuities/service charge.


How can we get to the hotel?

Arriving by car to the Dingle Skellig Hotel is very straightforward. We are located on one of the 2 main approach roads to Dingle Town. Follow the signs for the N86 or the main Killarney/Tralee road. We are just off the main road, at the shore front.

How can I get from the hotel to the centre of Dingle town by foot?

If you are arriving by public transport we are about a 10 min walk from the centre of Dingle Town. The route has a footpath and is lit up all the way to the hotel.


Is there an internet connection?

Yes, we offer complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel. You will be asked for our password which is available from hotel reception and does not require your email address to log in.

How can I book a Spa treatment?

If you would like to book a treatment please email and they will be happy to take your reservation. A list of the available treatments from Yon-Ka and VOYA as well as massage and beauty treatments and their prices are all available online.

How can I book an excursion?

You can book an excursion directly with the different providers when you arrive here at the hotel. We have a list of local things to do as well as some discount tokens for some local providers. On check in we can explain these to you. Dingle Tourist Office also have extensive lists of what is on in the area and the most popular things to do.

Do you provide bathrobes?

We provide bathrobes and slippers in all of our suites. If you are not in a suite you can request a robe and slippers at reception.

Do you provide pool towels?

Yes, we provide towels for guests wishing to use our swimming pool and for use of the Spa facilities.

Do you have a safe in the guest rooms?

We don’t provide safes in our guest rooms. We do offer safety deposit boxes at hotel reception for your convenience.

I have a special request; how should I send it to you?

For special requests, please send an e-mail to and we will be delighted to help you with your request. We will do everything we can to help you and satisfy your request.

What type of activities can I do at the hotel?

Here at the Dingle Skellig Hotel you can relax and unwind in our Spa, take a swim in our Pool, use our Gym facilities or take a lovely walk along the shore either to Dingle town or along the cliff top.  

Our younger guests can enjoy our Kids Club which operates daily during school holidays and at weekends outside of this. There are morning and evening sessions available with an action packed itinerary.  Our kids club is for children aged 4- 12 years. Our crèche is also available for children aged 4 months to 4 years operating at the same time as our kids club. There is a charge for the crèche which can be added to your bill.

What type of entertainment do you provide?

We have live music in The Blaskets Bar on a selection of nights. Please enquire at reception for details.

Do you have a luggage storage area?

Yes, you may leave your luggage at reception at no extra cost.

Do you have laundry facilities at the hotel?

Yes we have a complimentary utility room at the hotel with a washing machine and clothes drier as well baby changing area and kitchenette including Microwave, Steriliser and electric kettle.

What is the smoking policy?

We operate a smoke free policy throughout the hotel. You are only allowed to smoke outdoors in the garden and on the terrace.

Do you allow pets?

No, we are a pet free hotel but welcome service dogs only.

Do you host meetings, events or weddings?

Yes we do. Our team will be delighted to assist with you on planning your special event. We cater for weddings, special occasions such as christening and birthday parties and also corporate events and meetings.

What time is check in and check out?  Can I have a late check out?

You can check into your room at 16.00pm at the earliest and you must check out before 12.00pm. If you wish to check-out later than 12.00pm, contact reception and we will check availability and give you an answer. Late check-outs after 12.00pm are subject to availability and incur a surcharge.

We need to depart very early, can we have an early breakfast?

We will do our very best to accommodate you with an early continental breakfast on request.

Dining at the Dingle Skellig Hotel

What hours are the bar and restaurant open?

We offer a number of dining choices at the hotel. The Blaskets Bar opens daily at 12.30pm and you can enjoy dining in The Atrium, The Binn Bán Brasserie and the Blaskets Bar.  To view our menus please click here. Bookings are not required. The Coastguard Restaurant, with views accross Dingle Bay, is available on a selection of nights and bookings are required. Please enquire at reception for details.

Breakfast: from 7.30am to 10.30am

Bar Food: from 12.30pm to 9.30pm

Dinner in the Coastguard Restaurant: from 6.30pm on selected nights.
