Gratuity Policy
This notice sets out the procedure for the allocation of tips, gratuities and service charges for the Dingle Skellig Hotel.
We can confirm that Tips/Gratuities received electronically or via room charge are dispensed to employees via payroll on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
The proportion of Tips/Gratuities and service charges allocated to each employee is based on – the proportion or number of hours worked by the employee during the pay period Or depending on the department and the role and influence of the employee in providing service to customers. The amount of Tips/Gratuities circulated to Employees is outlined in a written statement to each employee no later than 10 days after the payment of tips/gratuities/service charge.
