Corporate Social Responsibility at the Dingle Skellig Hotel 

At the Dingle Skellig Hotel, our commitment to the environment, our community, and responsible business practices is central to how we operate. We believe in creating meaningful experiences for our guests while preserving the beauty, culture, and future of our surroundings.

 Environmental Responsibility – We are continually working to reduce our environmental impact by monitoring and improving how we use resources like energy, water, and materials. We are proud to currently have the following in operation –

• Water Conservation  
  • We use our own natural water supply.
  • Usage is tracked via metering to promote responsible use.
  • Water stations with still water from our well are available to guests.
  • All plastic water bottles have been removed from the hotel.
• Energy Efficiency
  • In October 2023, we installed 92 solar panels to generate renewable energy.
  • We provide 4 EV charging points for guest use (charges apply).
• Sustainable Operations
  • Over 80% of our cleaning products contain plant-based ingredients and are 100% biodegradable.
  • We are rolling out refillable in-room amenities in all guest rooms.
  • Towel and linen reuse policies are encouraged and displayed in guest rooms.
  • We support recycling in guest rooms with bags and signage.
  • Colour-coded bins make recycling easier for our staff.
  • Our reusable cup policy reduces waste among staff.
• Paper & Print Reduction
  • Printed materials use recycled, uncoated paper where possible.
  • We promote digital communication to reduce unnecessary printing.
  • We reuse waste paper in the office and limit printed materials

• • • Our Wedding flowers, menu covers, and table décor are all reusable.
