How do we check a date?
Please contact us here and we will be more than happy to check your preferred date.
Do you have a one wedding per day policy?
Yes of course, we only host one wedding per day.
What price are your wedding packages?
Our wedding packages start from €85.00 per person. We have a choice of 5 to choose from and you also have the option of tailor making your own package or adding upgrades to existing packages.
Do you have special offers or offer discounts for weddings?
Yes, we have a Winter Wedding Package available on selected dates from November to March which offers excellent value and includes an array of complimentary extras.
How many guests do you cater for?
Our Skellig Suite caters for numbers of up to 220 and we have a minimum guest requirement of 100 guests for Friday and Saturday wedding receptions from June to September. We are pleased to offer a lower minimum guest number requirement for midweek weddings.
Do you cater for smaller weddings?
Yes we do, we are pleased to offer smaller minimum number settings on a selection of mid-week dates. Please chat with a member of our team to discuss our smaller wedding options.
What do you include for our welcome reception?
With each wedding package we also include a variety of extras. Please have a look at each package for details.
Can the drinks reception be held outside?
Providing the weather allows, yes of course. You and your guests will be overlooking Dingle Bay.
Can you get married in the hotel or outside?
We are licenced to host civil ceremonies here in the hotel and you can also enjoy your humanist ceremony, blessing or partnership in our gardens overlooking Dingle Bay for up to 100 people. Alternatively if the weather is not in your favour we have options for indoor ceremonies.
Is there a hire charge for the ceremony, and what does it include?
Yes we have a ceremony set up charge for private use of €500.00 for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. In this you receive private room/garden hire and our PA system.
Is there a church nearby?
Yes, there are a selection of churches nearby. The closest Roman Catholic church is St Marys Church in the centre of Dingle town, less than a 5 min drive away. St James Church of Ireland in also in Dingle Town.
What room décor is included in our package?
We have Chavari Chairs for your wedding celebration and our table centrepieces are locally made wooden disks with an ivory silk flower arrangement in a Galway Crystal bowl. We also have a selection of lanterns for some tables.
Can I use my own flowers, table plan or wedding planner?
Yes you are most welcome to provide table flowers and your own table plan as well as hire the services of a professional wedding planner if you so wish.
Do you provide a table plan?
Yes we have a framed table plan and your table names and list is printed out in house for display on this. We request that you submit your table plan at least 7 days before your wedding date. If you would prefer to provide your own you are most welcome to do so.
What style of tables do you have?
We offer round tables that can seat 8-12 guests. We can also provide block tables if your numbers are larger and they seat up to 14 guests. Our top table with a backdrop of Dingle Bay can seat your full wedding party and can be tailor made to include any amount of guests.
How do I choose my menu?
Your menu is discussed with you in advance, and we will sit down and go through all of the options available to you.
What wines are available to add to our package and how much do you recommend per person?
We have an extensive wedding wine list with wines available from €18.00 per bottle. We advise allowing a half bottle per person. We also allow you to provide your own wines if you so wish at a corkage charge of €10.00 per bottle.
Can I create my own wedding package?
Yes of course. You can create a bespoke wedding package and we can provide you with a cost per person for this.
Do you assist with recommendation for our music and planning of the day?
We have a great list of suppliers that we can send you and our experienced team are always happy to help with this!
Can I get my beauty treatments and make up applied in the hotel?
Yes, The Peninsula Spa offer make up applications, tanning, nails and an extensive list of treatments for you and your guests.
Can we block book rooms for our wedding guests?
Yes, we hold a number of rooms at a preferential rate on the night of your wedding, we also provide you with a list of the extensive accommodation available here in Dingle town from guest houses to self-catering.
Do you have a minimum room booking requirement?
No we don’t require you to block book rooms if you don’t require them.
Is the honeymoon suite complimentary on the night of the wedding?
Yes, we include your overnight stay in one of our Presidential suites or a Deluxe balcony suite with stunning views of Dingle Bay on the night of your wedding.
When do we need to pay a deposit?
We can provisionally hold your wedding date for 4 weeks. To confirm and book your wedding date we request a non-refundable deposit of €1,500.
What time does the Band or DJ need to finish at?
Live music needs to finish inline with current guidelines.
What time does the bar close?
Under current guidelines the bar closes at 11.00pm and the room has to be vacated by 11.30pm
Can you take our photographs in the hotel and garden?
Yes you are most welcome to take your photos here. Our Skellig Suite overlooks Dingle Bay and you will enjoy panoramic views from the hotel.
Do you provide a cake stand and knife?
Yes we do.
Can you host our rehearsal and day after party?
Yes and our sister hotel Dingle Benners Hotel, in Dingle Town Centre also makes an ideal location for these.
Do you allow children to attend?
Yes of course. We also have a Crèche and Kids Club here in the hotel that is available to book at an additional supplement for your guests.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes indeed, just let us know what requirements you have and we will discuss the available options.
Can we bring in extra items to make our day personal to us, sweets, baskets for the bathrooms etc?
You are most welcome to drop these in to us on the lead up to your wedding and we will store them for you. We request that all items are collected the day after your wedding.
