Our initial decision to hold our wedding at the Dingle Skellig Hotel was made very easy by the helpfullness and proffessionalism of all staff. During our many phone calls and visits to the hotel before the wedding we encountered very helpful and friendly staff who looked after our every need.

On the day of our wedding everything was perfect. Our guests were in awe at the delightful setting of the reception room overlooking Dingle Bay and the ambiance of the bar where we had our champagne reception. The meal was delicious, great variety, excellent presentation and wonderful service. All our guests danced the night away and everyone had a day to remember.

We stayed in the hotel for the next couple of days and were made feel very valued customers during our stay, our suite was amazing and the attention to detail during our stay made us feel very special.

Thanks to Dingle Skellig Hotel for providing us with a dream wedding and memories that we will cherish fo a lifetime.

 The staff took great care of all our guests, particularly our overnight guests, and no ask was too big.

They realised our most perfect wedding day; the attention to detail, the wonderfully prepared menu, the warm atmosphere and professional matter in which our wedding day was handled

 It's one of the first of Dingle's treasures to greet you as you enter this picturesque town, and with each and every visit my heart flutters with excitement as I glance to my left and fondly remember one of the most special days of my life.

When we got engaged and started the initial plans for our wedding, we both chose the Dingle Skellig Hotel-never having discussed the subject previously! 

 From the very first time we met Graham, Sheila and Rosarii we were assured that our wedding day would be the day of our dreams. The management team looked after our every need-nothing was too much to ask. 

Over the months we took to plan our wedding the team were efficient and supportive.  We made good friends in them.  During our correspondence with the team we were constantly reminded that this would be our day. 

It would be perfect.  And it was! One could not possibly fault the attentiveness of the hotel staff, who operate like one big happy family, a rare characteristic in the hotel environment. These people are fantastic at what they do.

Having worked in the hotel industry for many years, and had a wide choice of wedding venues to choose from, we felt that no hotel can compare to the Dingle Skellig Hotel. There are some hotels that are renowned for their service and friendly staff, there are some for their cuisine, others for their facilities, location and atmosphere, few if any, have it all, especially for weddings, but the Dingle Skellig Hotel has the complete all round unique package. Our family and friends were made to feel very welcome and were treated like royalty on the day of our wedding. The professionalism, friendliness and passion for detail really shun throughout from beginning to end. Even the rain didn’t dampen people’s spirits, the scenery and setting were still spectacular and the added charm and warmth of the hotel and of course the magnificent flowers on display only enhanced the mood of the guests. In all the wedding preparations, nothing was every a problem. The meal and service was everything we could have wished for and more. The wow factor started during the drinks reception with the summer fruit punch to the starter with each guest receiving a complete breast of succulent chicken but that added special unique touch was each guest being asked how would they like their Fillet of Beef cooked each to their own unique taste. Not only was the meal good it was exceptional, our guests are still talking about it, saying it was the best they had ever tasted and the service was second to none which for us was the highest compliment any bride and groom could hope to receive. The Dingle Skellig Hotel may not be a five star hotel, but we can assure you will receive the five star service every bride and groom could hope to receive on their wedding day. Thank you all for creating such wonderful memories.

When we think back to our magical wedding day, we are so grateful to the Dingle Skellig Hotel for making our day so special and perfect. We truly can not say enough about this premier venue. From the stunning setting and beautiful décor, to the delicious food and outstanding service, and most of all, to the genuine friendliness and graceful hospitality of the staff, the Skellig Hotel really goes above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your wedding reception is flawless. The staff were a pleasure to work with right from the start. Their accommodating, flexible and patient nature really helped to ease the planning process and fully allowed us to personalize our wedding day. We were also very impressed by the professional way in which the staff facilitated our wedding reception so smoothly, especially as this left us worry-free on the day. The staff really looked after us and were wonderful with the guests as well. For instance, it was raining on our wedding day, so the staff were prepared with large umbrellas and greeted the guests at their vehicles as they arrived at the hotel in order to keep them dry as they made their way inside. All of the guests commented on how impressed they were with the staffs’ kind consideration and thorough attention to detail on every aspect of the day. Our wonderful experience with this friendly and professional hotel truly reflects the Skellig’s commitment to offering exceptional service. I know that our wedding day would not have been as magical if we had not chosen the Dingle Skellig Hotel. This is a unique venue that possesses all of the desirable qualities that a bride and groom could ever want, and we are so delighted to have chosen it for our special day.
